The story of our visit
Tried this pizzeria al taglio because it was listed in 2 out of 11 rankings for Rome's best supplì (Agrodolce and Puntarella Rossa). The supplì, while decent, didn't fully win me over. The issues I found were a filling that lacked the flavor of the top contenders and a crispy coating that was simply too thick. I encountered the same flaw in the pizza—soft and crispy on the outside, but again with a base that was far too substantial. In both tastings, the overall result felt rather heavy for my palate. I should also mention that I wasn't impressed by the cashier's sleight of hand in getting me to accept a slice of pizza larger than I'd asked for. All things considered, it's a decent pizza al taglio, but when it comes to the supplì, despite being good, it's not among Rome's finest.
